Wick + Vessel had the expertise, the products, and the vision. They needed a Shopify store that made the brand unmistakable from the very first scroll.

Wick + Vessel wasn't a startup finding its feet. The people behind it had serious pedigree in the fragrance and homeware sector — years of industry knowledge, established supplier relationships, and a clear sense of what their customers wanted.

But they were starting fresh. A completely new brand name, a completely new aesthetic, and the challenge that comes with building from zero in a market full of established names.

Our approch

With a new brand, there's no room for a generic Shopify template. Every design decision, typography, spacing, colour palette, image treatment, had to actively reinforce the Wick + Vessel personality.

The challenge

The brief was clear: build a Shopify store that didn't just list products, but immediately communicated who Wick + Vessel are. Playful but premium. Distinctive but approachable. A store that felt coherent from the logo to the last product page — and made browsing feel effortless.

The solution

With a new brand, there's no room for a generic Shopify template. Every design decision, including typography, spacing, colour palette, image treatment, had to actively reinforce the Wick + Vessel personality.

The product photography was exceptional, and the site was built around it. Large, clean product images dominate every key page, with layouts that let the visual quality of the range do the heavy lifting. On mobile and desktop alike, the first thing a visitor sees is the product — not a wall of text or a busy header.

Wick + Vessel's range spans novelty diffusers, room fragrances, and an ever-evolving collection of new launches. The navigation architecture was designed to make discovery frictionless — whether a customer knows exactly what they want or is browsing for inspiration. Clear category structure, quick-shop functionality, and clean collection pages mean fewer clicks between landing and buying.

The unique design of Wick + Vessel had to be consistent across every template. Product cards, collection headers, the homepage hero, even the currency selector every touchpoint was considered so the brand identity never slipped.

With multi-currency support across 27 European markets built in from launch, the store was ready to grow from day one. The Shopify foundation means new products, seasonal collections, and promotional campaigns can be added without developer involvement. The client is fully in control of their own store
