The migration from Squarespace to Shopify involved transferring all customer accounts, order history, products, collections, and blog content, ensuring no data was lost and the business experienced zero downtime throughout the transition.
The project began with selecting a Shopify theme that reflected the brand’s identity while supporting future scalability. The site was then redesigned from the ground up to enhance both visual appeal and user experience. As part of the replatforming, new collections were created to better organise the product catalog, improve navigation, and provide a more intuitive shopping journey across the site.
To improve search performance, product and collection pages were optimised with SEO best practices in mind, including refined meta content, clean URLs, and structured tagging. Intrinsic site navigation was carefully planned to guide users effortlessly from homepage to checkout. Finally, the store was submitted to Google Merchant Center to increase product visibility across Google Shopping and drive targeted traffic to the new storefront.
